PGDIS Hands-On PGT Workshop

• One of the key PGDIS contributions to the promotion of PGT was organization of standardized Hands-On Workshops on PGT of genetic and chromosome disorders by all 3 forms of biopsy for the first time in a single workshop, including polar body sampling, cleavage stage and blastocyst biopsy. PGDIS Hands-On Workshops was held annually since 2008, based on Istanbul Memorial Hospital's ART and Reproductive Genetic Unit. Approximately 200 specialists were trained in these Workshops, including colleagues from 32 countries, including: Argentina, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Check Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France. Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UK, Ukraine, and United Arab Emirates.
